It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and one of my favorite things is not only shopping for gifts, but wrapping them! Gift wrapping is so much fun to me, and every year I look forward to picking out a new gift wrap theme, so today I wanted to share my Christmas gift wrapping ideas! I sure love pretty packages tied up with string, and I just love the way it looks when they all coordinate underneath the tree! It makes it that much more fun to look forward to opening them, too! My favorite tradition during the holiday season is turning on a Christmas movie, grabbing a cup of hot cocoa, and wrapping up some presents.
I usually start out at the beginning of the season by looking around at some of my favorite stores (Target, Hobby Lobby, Container Store, Michael’s, etc.) to get a feel for what they have, and then start piecing together some of my favorite things I saw to create a theme! This year, my theme is Christmas Tree Farm! Think plaids, old-fashioned and cozy vibes, and lots of gift wrap with red trucks with trees in the back. There was gift wrap galore at all the stores this year that went along with that theme, so it made it easy…I need to buy more presents to use all this cute gift wrap I have now, haha! I saw so many cute gift bags, gift toppers and SO much fun gift wrap while shopping around that I just wanted to buy it all! The Target Dollar Spot really crushed it this year, which is where I got a bunch of my things, and they had so many other fun colorful and whimsical options for other themes you could do! One tip I have is that when you see cute gift wrap and it’s a great price, just buy it and save it for later even if you don’t need it for your theme this year. Go to this post to see my Nutcracker theme from last year, and this post for my winter camping theme from 2016!
On my YouTube channel I’m sharing a BIG gift wrapping haul + a how to! I wrap a couple of presents at the end so that you can hopefully get a few ideas, or maybe learn a few tips if you’re looking to impress Santa with your gift wrapping skills this year 😉 I still have many more presents to wrap, so I’ll share an updated picture when they’re done!
